I grew up on a lake in the North East where I got hooked on fishing at an early age. After graduating college I taught for three years, then entered the military, earned a commission and served in Vietnam, the USA engineer School, and West Point Military Academy. I returned to civilian life and spent 25 years in education, after which I retired and moved to Northern California, took a job with a technical College, and after 10 more years retired again. For the past few years I have been teaching at West Sonoma County Schools, soon to retire for the third time. I also spend a lot of time fishing the Miss Anita on the grand Pacific Ocean from which I have no plans to retire!

I have three children, five grandchildren and two wives, Mrs. Anita and Miss Anita, I love them all and am fortunate that my sons, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren all share my love of fishing. Of all the fishing vessels I have been part of, the Miss Anita, a diesel powered King Cat is flat out the best fishing platform yet. My partner Vince summarized it up best… “We are raising the bar for fish-ability, comfort, and customer service in the local charter fleet.” The North West Pacific Ocean offers a National Geographic special experience almost everyday and I am blessed to live and work here.
